The DSSS Browser OTP is an extension of the flagship product of DS3, the Authentication Server and can be executed on any Web browser using a Java Virtual Machine (JVM). It functions as another authentication token conveniently used by the user to authenticate himself/ herself to the Authentication Server. It allows the user to make use of the OATH HOTP algorithm (see http://www.openauthentication.org) to generate one-time passwords for strong 2nd factor authentication.
1. Web Browsers that support Java Virtual Machine 1.5 and above
(For support on JVM 1.4 and below, please contact DSSS for customization)
2. This applet has been tested on IE and FireFox
1. Click on "Init Seed" button
2. Enter a password (Max: 8 digits) to encrypt the seed file
3. Click "Go"
4. The generated seed (32 Hexadecimal Characters) is displayed in the screen and will be displayed only once.
5. Register the generated seed with DSSS Authentication Server
6. Click "Generate OTP" to continue
1. Enter the decryption password (Max: 8 digits) and click "Go"
2. Click "Generate" to generate the one-time password (6 Digits).
3. An OTP would be displayed on the screen for 10 seconds
4. If a wrong password is enter, an error message would be displayed
